About The Bonafides

The Bonafides are a group of friends from New Bern, NC, having a blast while playing songs they love. With acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bass, drums, banjo, harmonicas and soaring harmonies, our musical tastes range far and wide. Need some Grateful Dead? Check. Old Crow Medicine Show? We gotchu. Old-time fiddle and banjo tunes? We can go for days. Fleetwood Mac? Yup, with banjo and extra crunchy electric mandolin thrown in for flavor. You’ll hear songs you haven’t heard in a while, and songs you’ve never heard played like this before.
